Introducing Remote Filesystems for Mastra Workspaces

Instead of relying solely on local storage, agents can now work directly with remote filesystems. Once you attach a provider to your agent’s workspace, it gains the ability to read, write, and manage remote files.

Mastra currently supports S3, GCS, Azure Blob, and AgentFS, with Google Drive support in development. Remote filesystems work alongside workspace sandboxes, enabling agents to run scripts, install packages, and safely execute commands.
